Rick M Green

Rick M. Green was born August 28, 1962 in Stephenville, Texas.

Rick attended Central Elementary, Middle, and High School in Stephenville. He knew early on that music was a calling he couldn’t ignore. From solos in school plays to numerous awards as a trombone player in band, the call was heard.

After High School, Rick spent a few years working under the oversight of Danny Wolfe in his Wolfe Production studio. During this time, Rick learned the craft of song writing, recording, arranging, editing, and post production. In 1988, amid a road of financial uncertainty, it was time to find another way to make a living. In the spring of 1989 he enrolled at Tarleton State University with the goal of teaching music, and graduated in 1993.

As a professional educator for the past 25 years, Rick has combined his gift for music and writing with the creation of numerous children’s musicals. His emphasis has been to give each child the opportunity to excel on the stage.

His life took an amazing turn in a new direction, when he married Renae Smith Brumbaugh in 2014. Within a few months, the two embarked as partners in their own business, and Armonia Publishing Company was born.

Rick thinks himself blessed to have Renae in his life. Her numerous published works, awards, and encouragement have rotated Rick’s attention to begin his second work, and first novel.

As a side note Rick hates mosquitoes.
