Joseph Settecasi

I am a former middle and high school science teacher. I taught gifted Biology, Earth Science, and Marine Biology in Tampa, Florida.

My wife and I moved to Georgia in November of 2015 to be close to our two daughters who live in Atlanta.

We have two grandchildren. The birth of the first, Ford, inspired the writing of Ford Goes Looking for the Sun.

I have written and published the second book in the series called, James Wants to See Everything, which is inspired by my granddaughter James.

In Tampa, I owned and operated a hot-air balloon ride business.

In addition to providing hot-air balloon rides, we rented and sold outdoor advertising inflatables to businesses in the area.

I have always believed in science education.

It is one of the central themes of the books.
