David J. Allen

David Allen is an entrepreneur and co-director of Challenges for Champions, which runs leadership courses at Camp Solomon and other venues. He is the director of the Leadership Training Camp at Village Camp Leadership School in Switzerland and York, England. Every July he leads the Village Camps’ award-winning Leadership Training programme in Switzerland.

As an accomplished motivational speaker and leadership coach, David is in demand both at home and abroad. He has volunteered as a police reservist for nearly 30 years and has trained in crisis negotiation and served with specialised units.

David has presented a variety of leadership and development talks to corporates, school groups and police tactical and detective units in South Africa and abroad. He is a returning guest lectures at the New Jersey Attorney General Delta Law Enforcement Conference, Babson College and Bentley University, two of the leading entrepreneurial and business schools in Boston, USA.

Studies have shown that people absorb more information when they are actively involved in the presentation. In light of this, David tailored his interactive approach, which involves active audience participation, to ensure that people retain what he teaches … and he has yet to find someone dozing through one of his presentations!
