Dr. Michael H. Forde, DrPH, MSPH is an author, public health leader, and nationally recognized voice in health equity. He is the author of Success Begins From Where You Are! and is known for translating complex public health issues into accessible, culturally grounded insight.

With more than a decade of experience advancing initiatives that reduce disparities and strengthen community trust, Dr. Forde works at the intersection of data, policy, and storytelling. Through a digital platform that has reached millions across social media, he uses his signature message, “Healing starts with knowing,” to uncover the untold stories of health and medicine.

A Gates Millennium Scholar and Modern Healthcare 40 Under 40 honoree, Dr. Forde holds degrees from Southern Adventist University, Campbell University, and The George Washington University. His work bridges scholarship and culture to make equity practical, personal, and powerful.
