Kimberly Sparks

Kimberly Sparks (1970-present) was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents that were entrepreneurs that migrated to Chicago from the south in the early 60's. For several years she was a substitute teacher in the Chicago public school system. Falling in love with books late in life, she was inspired to began to write by having a daughter with special needs.
