I am Sathish Kumar Mahalingam. I live in Trichy, India.
I published my first book “Enlightenment in Depression. Succeed under pressure as testing times pass by to reveal the merit of endurance” in the year 2014. Most of the contents in this book were written when I was working in the USA in the year 2006.
After sufficient gap and experiences witnessed in life and with newer insights, I have published the e-book version and paperback version of my second book titled "Remedy Life, Sneak peek at what implies and applies. Continue to look and move ahead" in the year 2018. It is a sneak peek, at how to address and overcome our difficulties and times of hardships. My first book "Enlightenment in Depression" is presented as a biography of my youth and earlier life. You will feel my second book "REMEDY LIFE" interesting and relevant in your life's as I have laid emphasis on "we, our and us" rather than "I" alone.
I have been looking at the ways that readers can adapt and adopt and use their own comparative analogies to face and endure life boldly and confidently. It is styled as a memoir and a guide to the inner meanings of life, implications and practical applications of concepts adapted to the readers unique living style and conditions. Some concepts may be native to my region or geography or culture but you can make out what and how it applies to you in your case and relevancy.
An Excerpt:
We are all one but ‘engines and wagons of our origins and destination’
We may think that there are different places and different people but this notion is blurry because actually we are all human beings and places and rules divide us. What we can infer is that normal people everywhere have the same fundamental attitudes and behaviors and actually divisive laws, rules and bring up are enforced more strictly in certain places. Well! Diversity sure is what enriches our life in the world. Being true to where we are in heart, spirit, and law is paramount and governance of people in different places has different norms, objective and priorities. Overall human struggle all through history reveals we are moving in unison towards much more liberal and accommodative cultures and we are visibly witnessing success and collapse which teaches us lessons which we can easily decipher.
My Third book "Instincts Intents and The Greater Purposes", "Holding on to niche and converging aims to meet realities" has also been published by me in the year 2018.

It is a scientific and established fact that we all fall sick. The sickness affecting us either because of viral, bacterial infections, food poisoning, organ or metabolic malfunctions or nervous disorder etcetera, shows symptoms in our bodies and functioning of our brains and reflect in our behavior and appearance. These symptoms vary in intensities from mild to severe. Example: Pain as in a minor injury, mild to severe headache, muscle pain as in a sprain, minor to severe boils in skin as in or measles, smallpox, joint pain, stress, strain, tiredness, hopelessness, fits, tumor, hemorrhage or trauma experienced due to serious injury, rabies or also severe treatment for our ailments. In all the above conditions there is a reflection of our facial expressions, emotions and body language. All the above is for good and so good. It is relieving or curing or taken care as in terminal illness. But there are certain conditions like depression, bipolar disorder or paranoid schizophrenia. There are incapability’s either personal, social or monetary and there are doubts cropping up in our minds as to find a solution, care or remedy.
But think for a moment some people have group discussions, employ closed-circuit cameras, supervisors or invigilators. There is a lot of eavesdropping, snooping and intelligence gathering and tactical planning and preemptive planning like employing security men and for sure people who qualify as low-grade security guards (gangsters). The problem is some people have ample reason, capacity, and capability to rightfully and legally employ these measures and find solutions. What is the point? We have suffered from depression, major depression, and paranoid schizophrenia and doubted whether there is a bipolar disorder? Careful, all is not as beautiful as it seems!
There is no harm in being patients but, all through we have not had clarity of our rights, the course of treatment, ramifications to health and side effects, reality to social and societal standing and claims that we can make for ourselves to law and pursuance of our genuine needs. Do an on sight or internet search? As on April 5, 2018.

Level playing field? There is always some authority:
No one wants, needs or likes a person who always keeps complaining. There is the distinction, distinguishing and discrimination.
First case:
1. What is your allocated slot?
2. Where are people fitting you in?
3. What is being thrust or imposed on you?
The above questions deserve to be pondered upon when you are expectant that others are needed or required in meeting and fulfilling your personal or social wants. This is the case of being and allowing yourself to subjugation. Here, of course, there may be genuine or your very own people who cater or satisfy your requirements but with hegemony on your individuality or personal prerogatives.
Second case:
Let us look at possible questions which can be answered by your very own personal prerogatives or capabilities:
1. Where and in what space or ground you are stamping upon with your own feet, personal will and capability to move around with?
2. Where are you fitting yourself in?
3. What are you doing? And how you can break free?
In the first case, others are painting your masterpiece and rendering you to the level of a puppet.
In the second case, you are painting your very own masterpiece and you govern what you want to reflect and depict.
The reality is that our life is a mix of being puppets in certain aspects and a being of your very own will on certain aspects of your life. You need other people and you are needed.
Some achievers strike a benevolent balance while some people languish in unhealthy imbalance.
The point is going along with the flow and in being a dolphin in the seas and oceans you navigate, feed on and sail around.
I have currently published my fourth book titled “Undo Ordeal, Idea to Liberate and Grow Free!" and subtitled "Fitting Into Common Reality Together With Being Exceptionally Yourself".

I am a motorcyclist. I have made a comparison between driving on my bike and practicing of human living.
The life machine which is our body or vehicle has to be kept running. Wear and tear, servicing and maintenance, upgradation and keep up has to continue and this is akin to stress, strain on mind and body and so requiring nurturing and health. Infusions of oil, grease, fuel and tightening of nuts and bolts, right condition of brakes, tire pressure, electronics like horn, headlamp and signal lights have to be checked from time to time and have to be fit for plying the road, also the healthy, productive, constructive plying of our life journey with healthy food and healthy life routine. Traffic on the onward and return journey has to be negotiated akin to maintaining healthy work and life balance, going to office and returning home safely. Traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, speed breaks and instructions from traffic police have to be looked out for and adhered to. Accidents have to be prevented and in case of this happening, ambulances and doctors have to be kept available akin to preparations for untoward incidents in life and available remedy. There has to be penalties for offenders like as action of law. Racing and adventure has to be limited to race tracks. Public transport has to be made safe and botched roads have to be maintained like as “life” meaning to be a safe journey. Using bridges can avoid traffic congestion akin to requirements of bridging our differences felt in lives. When it is time for knock off the vehicle has to be retired and replaced akin to the “cycle of life” or “birth and death”. Responsibility of travelling safely and making a safe passage for other vehicles, drivers and passengers is important. When you make it a point to your fitting in life, you have also got to make and leave for your people and others who will make use of their journeys to pursue their own points which they want to satisfactorily achieve in their lives.
The year 2018 has been very productive since I have come out with three books in this year alone. I hope my endeavor to write will continue.
I am currently working on my fifth book.
An excerpt:
There lived a pious Brahmin in a small village. He used to perform religious rituals. On one occasion, he was rewarded with a goat for his services by a wealthy man. The Brahmin was happy to get a goat as the reward. He happily slung the goat over his shoulder and began the journey towards his home. On the way, three cheats (Thugs) saw the Brahmin taking the goat.
All of them were lazy and wanted to cheat the Brahmin so that they could take away the goat. They said,” This goat will make a delicious meal for all of us. Let's somehow get it”. They discussed the matter amongst themselves and devised a plan to get the goat by befooling the Brahmin. After deciding the plan, they got separated from one another and took different hiding positions at three different places on the way of the Brahmin.
As soon as, the Brahmin arrived at a lonely place, one of the cheats came out of his hiding place and asked Brahmin in a shocking manner, “Sir, what are you doing? I don't understand why a pious man like you needs to carry a dog on his shoulders?" The Brahmin was surprised to hear such words. He screamed, “Can't you see? It's not a dog but a goat, you stupid fool". The cheat replied,” Sir, I beg your pardon. I told you what I saw. I am sorry, if you don’t believe it.” The Brahmin was annoyed at the discrepancy, but started his journey once again.
The Brahmin had barely walked a distance, when another cheat came out of his hiding place and asked the Brahmin, “Sir, why do you carry a dead calf on your shoulders? You seem to be a wise person. Such an act is pure stupidity on your part." The Brahmin yelled, "What? How can you mistake a living goat for a dead calf?" The second cheat replied, "Sir, you seem to be highly mistaken in this regard. Either you don’t know how does goat look like or you are doing it knowingly. I just told you what I saw. Thank you". The second cheat went away smiling. The Brahmin got confused, but continued to walk further.
Again the Brahmin had covered a little distance when the third cheat met him. The third cheat asked laughingly, "Sir, why do you carry a donkey on your shoulders? It makes you a laughing stock”. Hearing the words of the third thug, the Brahmin became really worried. He started thinking, “Is it really not a goat? Is it some kind of a ghost?"
He thought that the animal he was carrying on his shoulders might really be some sort of a ghost, because it transformed itself from goat into a dog, from dog into a dead calf and from dead calf into a donkey. The Brahmin got frightened to such an extent that he hurled the goat on the roadside and ran away. The three tricksters laughed at the gullible Brahmin. They caught the goat and were happy to feast on it.
This Panchatantra story helped me dissuaded in bringing within me the belief and acceptance all the verbally negative things people were telling and portraying about me consistently, non-compromisingly and unforgivingly for a reasonably lengthy span of time sufficient to matter to alteration, the self-conception one has about oneself. One should know that self-doubt can happen but it should not dilute the resolve to get personal, individual, self-accessed, self-researched and verified understanding at the autonomous level mattering to oneself as an intelligent, individually self-contained or retained, sufficiently intellectual and sane human being with healthy mental and physical faculties one is capable of using or deploying for his or her interests or wellbeing, personal or social perception, in being an authority on or in being the deciding factor about oneself, in one’s actions, in one’s interpretation of the surrounding social environment and responses one shows and gets from the surrounding, as a person who has independent conscience, thinking capacity, reasoning ability, human senses, physical capacity and life.
Moral: One should not be carried away by what others say.
You can experience phenomenal maturity growth through books in the series starting from my first book "ENLIGHTENMENT IN DEPRESSION", "Succeed Under Pressure as Testing Times Pass By to Reveal the Merit of Endurance", to the newest fifth book. Hope this contributes to your reading habits.
