Jennie Linnane

Born in Sydney and Catholic-school educated, Jennie Linnane grew up at Oyster Bay and nursed at The St George Hospital before marrying. She moved to the beautiful Shoalhaven district where she and her husband settled into a busy lifestyle on their farm. She is the mother of six and grandmother of eight. Writing has long been a passion and Jennie has much experience in story writing and freelance journalism; publishing articles, short stories and novels. Besides family, her other interests include reading, piano, gardening, sketching, wool crafts, and talking to people. Now a widow, and living with her Maltese terrier, Jennie Linnane continues to write stories and assists others to write their memoirs. She firmly believes in her oft-repeated maxim: “every person has a story to tell.”
