Sara is the owner/operator of Sara E. Teller Industries, LLC., and a freelance writer who has spent nearly twenty years in media. A seasoned publishing professional, she has worked for newspapers, magazines, and book publishers in content digitization, editorial, acquisitions, and intellectual property. She has also been an invited speaker at a Careers in Publishing & Authorship event at Michigan State University and a reading and writing instructor at Sylvan Learning Center. Before officially taking the plunge into self-employment, she was a castings department supervisor at an entertainment company.
Sara has an MBA degree and is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and has been a member of many honors societies over the years including Michigan State University's Honors College, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Outstanding Students Honors Society, the National Scholar Honors Society, the National Honors Society, and Michigan State University’s Towerguard. She is a frequent guest on health and well-being podcasts and will be publishing her fifth book (working title, 'Post-traumatic Strength: The Turning Point') in fall 2019.
