Jack Blare

Jack began writing in 2006 when introduced to the works of Dylan, Ginsberg, and Kerouac. Won 1st place in a school poetry competition and was a top ten national contest winner four times and published in a variety of anthologies by the Canadian Poetry Association. Writer and co-editor at The Undercroft. Founded Hollow Publishing in 2012 and released a monthly zine called Hungry & Hollow. He also edited and published his own work Popular Medication for Kids (2013), People & Concrete (2015), Impersonating Emotion (2015), Intentional Insanity (2016) and others. Blare also published & edited three books by contemporary poets, Beneath the Shadow of a White Pigeon by Pijush Kanti Deb (2013) Diary of an Electroshock Gutter Girl by Lisa Russell (2014) & Everyone is Broken by Max Mundan (2015) Vocalist, producer, songwriter & guitarist with solo work & as a member of Wolf Lane (2013-2019). Jack is currently finishing up his first novel.
