Reo Howard

I was born and raised in Western Nebraska USA on a small farm where we used to raise cattle, chickens, pigs, and dogs, as well as grow a large garden. I graduated High School and gained my associates degree here as well. I also still work for a company in Nebraska, though now in a roundabout way. Most of my family still lives in Nebraska, including my parents. My brother and his family live in Wyoming. I myself live in Florida with my husband, two daughters, and three dogs.

My family has always been on the lower middle class so we didn't travel much and for many years I'd never been to a state that didn't touch Nebraska. Because we couldn't go many places I learned a love of reading to learn about different places and people. One of the first groups of books to introduce me to many different parts of the world were the Hardy Boys Case Files series. They allowed me an escape into many different worlds that weren't my own. After a time I found a love for many different types of books.

It wasn't until I moved to the south eastern part of the USA that I learned I not only enjoy reading, but also writing. Like many readers I'd had story ideas for years, but never set about actually writing them down. The moment it changed was when I started reading fanfictions and thought I'd try my hand, never thinking much would come of the little stories. Then one day I met my (eventually would become) husband who read one of my darkest stories. Because of his encouragement I ended up revising that story and it is now my first published story, known as Three Weeks.

As a fanfiction it was very popular so I'm hoping it well slowly gain in popularity here. I have a few more stories I'm working on, including a mystery series.
