Louis Emery grew up in Southern California gallivanting through Hollywood, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. From an early age he had a steady diet of imagination, appearing in numerous commercials and TV shows, only to grow up into a gigging musician. His love for daydreaming triumphed over the silver screen and rock n' roll.
He works as an office manager at a major university and also tutors writing. Under a different name, he is a sixty-time published writer, his short fiction and humor pieces appearing in numerous reputed journals/magazines that include Aphelion, The Copperfield Review, Foliate Oak, Blood Moon Rising, Points in Case, Defenestration, The Haven, Robot Butt, The Daily Drunk, and Little Old Lady. If you enjoyed his book, he wishes you leave a review of your experience.

Not Your Typical Damsel in Distress Story …
A tale situated in the days of old, but with an authentic, realistic feel. There is everything we love in a sword and sorcery story here—kings, knights, wizards, ogres, and fiery dragons. Add in a feisty princess and ruthless witch, and you have all that is needed for an adventurous tale. Except there is more—our heroine—and she’s no typical damsel in distress. She is a young Seer, learning about the enormous power that dwells within her. With the help of her companions, she becomes quite the force to be reckoned with.
You’ll experience epic battles and struggles for survival. You’ll journey along both beautiful and perilous lands as our band of heroes does whatever it takes to protect their kingdoms. With so much going against them, they have no choice but to triumph over the forces that seek to destroy them.
Louis Emery has created an absolute page-turner that you will have a difficult time putting down.
