ROBERT JOHN COTTRELL

Robert Cottrell has worked for over 50 years on the River Thames. His book THOMAS DOGGETT COAT & BADGE (300 years of history) is highly acclaimed by The Company of Watermen & Lightermen of the River Thames as the up to date accurate history of the race that first took place on the first of August 1715.

His book has sold extremely well and a third reprint is expected in 2018, bringing the race right up to date.
