Mr. Syed Mohammad Rizwan

I have done Masters in History and grew up mainly in Lucknow. I always had a passion for writing and initially started with articles and blogs somewhere around 2010. Progressed on to write my first novel, Till Break of Dawn, in 2015 and, since then, have completed eight more. Over the past fifteen years, I have written across a wide range of genre, including fiction, memoir, essays, and social/philosophical commentaries. The focus is always on human relationships and enduring values that bind communities together.

My latest production is a revised edition of Survivors of a Mutiny, which is an epic work of historical fiction spanning nearly a century of Indian history. Rather than retelling history through the eyes of kings and generals, it follows ordinary families whose lives are transformed by extraordinary times. This novel reflects my abiding interest in the resilience of individuals amid social and political upheavals.

Beyond writing, I teach Spoken English and believe that language is not merely a means of communication but a bridge between cultures and generations.

Currency, I am working on several new books, including collection of essays, short stories, and another novel.
