Ben Redwood

Dr Ben Redwood (1986, New Zealand) holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. With experience working in a range of manufacturing environments, Ben understands the important role 3D printing plays in today’s industry. Ben was responsible for creating, authoring and curating the 3D Hubs Knowledge Base, a collection of over 50 technical 3D printing articles produced in conjunction with many industry experts. Ben is passionate about educating engineers and designers on the many 3D printing technologies and materials that are available and how they can be utilized to disrupt traditional manufacturing techniques.
