Joan E Derrick

Joan E Derrick is a mother, grand-mother and a Natural Therapy Practitioner, living and working in a small rural community in central Queensland, Australia. She started writing her stories many years ago to help her grandchildren understand how their thoughts, words, emotions and actions impact not only themselves, but everyone around them. Her aim with the Spiritual Heritage for Children Series is to empower children by bringing awareness of the invisible energy fields surrounding, and within them, that shapes much of their lives and determines to a large extent the kind of life they will live. Her stories are inspired by overheard comments, or remarks from parents, made by children that give a key to things that bother them.
