Luis Eslava

Luis Eslava is Professor of International Law at Kent Law School, University of Kent, and Research Professorial Chair of International Law at La Trobe University. He is also a Senior Fellow at Melbourne Law School, International Professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia and core faculty member of the Institute for Global Law and Policy, Harvard Law School. He is the author of Local Space, Global Life: The Everyday Operation of International Law and Development (2015) and the co-editor of Imperialismo y Derecho Internacional (2016), with Liliana Obregón and René Urueña and Bandung, Global History, and International Law: Critical Pasts and Pending Futures (2017), with Michael Fakhri and Vasuki Nesiah. He is an active member of the Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) network.
