Wendy A Mazzoni

As a child, I rarely put down a pencil and paper, usually creating an ongoing story of a robot family which was actually a human family dressed as robots (they had cats and dogs as well and I'm pretty sure they were robots, too - I know, weird).

I recently had the opportunity to start drawing again and realized that I still was interested in drawing unusual stuff. I let my mind wander and shook my imagination awake and soon neon signs turned into retro scenes, a single spaceship turned into something that reminds me of an 80s rock album and a hankering for a twisty donut resulted in a Sweet, Sweet Cloudburst. And soon, Coloring Bizarre Stuff (Volume 1) was born.

I'm trying to draw what I'd like to color - sometimes a simple word in a weird font or sometimes a page of green things (like the zombie hiding in the grass) to challenge my own coloring abilities. And I sincerely hope you'll like to color this strange variety, too.

Oh, one more thing - I would LOVE to see your finished works of art. Please post them on my Instagram account [@ColoringBS] and you are also welcome to let me know which drawings were your favorite or make requests. I'll do my best to draw up whatever your imagination comes up with for future volumes.

Until next time... May your pencils be sharp, your ink never run dry and your colors be bright!

Happy coloring,

WAM
