Biography

Among friends and family I am the Clown never the Gladiator, I never fight, rather change everything in irony or laugh, looking for the positive side of events. This causes sometime an allergy to my blunt and inhibited humor. I can’t work far from happiness or fun.

My books are based on a rather unusual experience, a week I spent in a Brazilian Prison, due to a Judge error that eventually asked to forgive him. When freed from prison, one week later, I searched everything was written in newspapers, magazines, and the trial, it was a famous case. I then had all the material to write the book.

I read a lot. My favorite Authors are Ken Follet, Jeffrey Archer, Isabel Allende, Ain Rand, Gabriel Garcia Marques, Belva Plain, Jojo Mojes, David Lodge. Sveva Casati Modignani, Colleen McCullogh, etc. I read always in original language (Italian English French Spanish Portuguese), I think translations lose some of the original meaning,

Born in Milano (Italy), 1938, I lived also in Brazil, England, France, USA, I am a Doctor in Electrical Engeneering by Politecnico di Milano, I write and paint, after a very varied adventurous life, now live in Italy. I worked with Pirelli Tires, then had a very successful company making Fiberglass products, a very unsuccessful company producing Lingerie, then a soya Farm. In between a Car Concessionaire (Fiat), a Cattle Feed Lot, a Consulting Firm, was pilot and Airplane dealer, and much more. See my site www.ginogavazzi.com
