Robert R. Martinez

Robert Martinez is a high school English teacher, independent author, and autism advocate. He has been writing since he was an adolescent, and his favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe. His first novel, Captain Sobriety Conquers the Nefarious Dr. Addiction, is a dark comedy about substance abuse. Martinez has two sons, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. He lives and works in Southern California, and he is married. His friend Alex Rios designed the cover and interior artwork for the novel. They are currently working on a children's book about a caterpillar.
