Darla Desiderio

Darla Desiderio is the creator of the Gage the Flying Whippet series of books, and crafty artist of colorful artwork. Her books include Gage the Flying Whippet (Book One), The Scrapper (Book Two), The Swan (Book Three), and the Gage the Flying Whippet Coloring Zine. Written for children ages seven to ten. Darla grew up in the beautiful mountains of Bernardsville, New Jersey, surrounded by nature. She now resides in Arkansas, the Natural State. Having no children of her own to nurture, Darla hopes her legacy will be the wisdom she imparts in her children’s stories. In the Gage the Flying Whippet series, children can find inspiration by reading about characters who learn to triumph over personal and familial conflict with the help of a special canine.
