Istvan Szabo

I was born in Budapest in 1983. After I graduated as a transportation engineer, I learnt philosophy, qigong, holistic healing and meditation. Writing is a matter of the heart. It is my obsession. When I write, I submerge into a different universe; a meditative state. When I emerge from that other world, my brain is full of treasures ready to be shared with the world.

My "ars poetica" is that good stories already exist. The writer is not the one who creates them, but rather the one who listens to them well, and can formulate the words exactly as the "story" demands.

I have been writing ever since I could read. I have written novels, stories, poems and essays. My first book was published in Hungary in 2010 with the title "Az Igazság nyomában" (In Pursuit of the Truth). My new book, “The CHS Test,” is my first book available in the English language as well. The story has just begun. I am working on more books right now. The recent ones are illustrated books which all reflect the holistic approach of my online personal development program available at chstest.com.

I hope that my stories will satisfy you as much as they satisfied me when I wrote them.
