Kerry Gibb began her writing career in 2015 when she wrote the book, It's A Kid's Life, for her four sons. Seeing them fall in love with it was all the inspiration she needed to create a series of five books. In 2018 she became a finalist in the IAN Book of the Year Awards and now gives author talks and runs creative writing workshops at schools across the UK to inspire children to embrace their creativity and find a love of reading.
In 2020, Kerry wrote a book, Kayla's Girls, for the mums who had enjoyed reading her books with their children. This captured the hearts of mums everywhere as they related to the story of finding friendship whilst navigating motherhood.
In 2022, Kerry wrote The Elephant Squad and developed a partnership with the Honeypot Children's Charity to raise money for young carers.
Kerry's books have children and parents laughing out loud as they insist on reading 'just one more chapter' when it is time for lights out. With a degree in Psychology and many years of parenting four boys, Kerry writes with a style that children and parents alike can't help but relate to and connect with.
