Ronit Y. Stahl is a historian of modern America, focusing on religion, law, and politics. She is an Associate Professor of History at the University of California, Berkeley. Her work has also appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, Religion & Politics, and a number of other venues. She received her PhD in history from the University of Michigan.
