Kerri Kennedy

Kerri Kennedy has been writing since back in her Crayola days and has been in an all-consuming love affair with the written word ever since. She is a freelance writer and editor and former high school English teacher—an all-around word nerd who loves to work with writing in any way that she can. She is also an incurable chatterbox who loves to talk about books, her books, and how everyone else should love books (and her book).

Along with Joanna Spathis, she is the coauthor of Wake, Rise, Resist: The Progressive Teen's Guide to Fighting Tyrants and A*holes and is excited to help young people and other new activists find the on-ramp to helping to make the world a better place.
