Brandon Andrew Robinson

Dr. Brandon Andrew Robinson is Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of California, Riverside. They are the author of Coming Out to the Streets: LGBTQ Youth Experiencing Homelessness and the coauthor of Race & Sexuality. A leading expert in queer and trans studies, Dr. Robinson's research specifically contributes to the areas of homelessness and housing studies, family sciences, and work on sex and dating.

Their next book - Trans Pleasure: On Gender Liberation and Sexual Freedom - is coming in 2026. In turning to trans women's and femmes' dating and sex lives, this book challenges conventional ways of thinking about gender, hooking up, and pleasure. It also teaches us all how to love, care for, and find better pleasure during these tumultuous times.
