Meg Harris

Meg Harris, is a writer, poet, and teacher. Her work can be found in online and print publications, beginning in 1978. She lives in Connecticut where she offers guided-writing workshops. She was appointed to serve on the Connecticut State Independent Living Council and is the managing editor of Diaphanous Press Journal of Literary and Visual Art which launched in the spring of 2017. She is also a judge for the Goodreads Newsletter's Monthly Poetry contest. An avid armature photographer, miniaturist, and activist, she is most passionate about ending "descriptor-discrimination" because she believes everyone deserves their adjective. Round, white, feminist, witty, aging, empathic, Meg Harris is known in some circles for finding things lost and fixing things broken. She earned her MFA in writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, Vermont. She is a trained guide in the Patchwork Farms Guided-Writing Process.
