J Bono

J Bono (1964-present) was born and raised 70 miles north of New York City in Poughkeepsie, NY - a small, picturesque city that sits right on the banks of the Hudson River.

After graduating from Siena College in Albany, NY, the author began a career in the energy industry at General Electric, before moving on to work for other industry mainstays.

In 2012 J Bono left the corporate world to start his own consulting company, and after a couple successful years on his own, his life took an even more surprising turn. It was at this point a very different business opportunity fell into his lap as he became the owner of a Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt franchise, which he still owns to this day.

Throughout much of the author’s life the idea of writing a book didn't really occur to him. But in 2013, after reading several of the period's more popular books, he came up with an idea for a book and The Phineus Philes was born. Phineus Rising is the first installment in what will hopefully become a long line of books for the author.

J Bono currently resides in the Atlanta, GA area with his wife and two daughters
