Author La Shonda Thornton is the Founder and CEO of DeLayne Publishers LLC. Originally from a small-town outside of Chicago where she published her first book which was a biography of her grandmother, Barbara Westbrook. In writing her grandmother’s story, she discovered that there are so many people that have a story to share, but don’t know how to get started. She then began to conduct writer’s workshops determined to help inspiring writers to bring their vision to life and become published authors. Her motto is "If you can’t Erase it, Embrace it……..Own It and Write Your Story!"
She is the Founder of Anzora’s Foundation which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization funded by generous donors which help sponsor writer's workshops, human trafficking awareness events and others programs that “Impact, Change and Empower individuals, families and communities through events designed to bring awareness, educate and address various issues that are prevalent and plaguing our society.
