Martin Plews

Martin Plews was born and raised in County Durham in the North-East of England to a loving Irish Mother and a hard working English Father.

Always an adventurous kid, upon Adulthood, Martin embarked on some time in the Military prior to joining his local Fire Service to where he went on to finish up as a Watch Manager.

In 2006, Martin moved to Perth, Australia to seek a fresh start in life and has not looked back since.

Originally released in 2006, Into the Flames has been revised with more adventure, detail and insight into the lives of not only Firefighters, but of all Emergency Services operators that risk their lives on a daily basis.

With a passion for reading and writing, more books will hopefully follow.
