Brandy Michelle

Brandy Michelle began writing poetry and stories at age ten, inspired by her father, James Earl Luckey. A lifelong student of life, he loved to read, write, and tell stories. His curiosity and the memories he shared continue to inspire her work.

Although she has been writing since childhood, Brandy has only recently begun sharing her work through publishing. Her James and Buddy children’s books draw inspiration from her father’s childhood adventures, preserving a part of his story for a new generation of readers. She is also the creator of the A Soft Life coloring-book series, inviting readers to enjoy moments of creativity and calm.

For Brandy, publishing is a way to share a lifelong love of storytelling and honor the man who first inspired it.
