Amanda Midence

Amanda Midence was born in Guatemala City, in 1986.

She graduated as a Wellness Coach from the Institute for Integrated Nutrition in New York and had further certifications from the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in Colorado.

She embarked in a writing career and received courses in creative writing, mentored by several local authors.

An inward journey of awareness in the path of her life experiences and her innate writing talent have molded her into the author she is today.

Her first book, “Its not about the Broccoli”, published in 2018, presents healthy eating and nutrition as a way of nourishing and healing the body, dealing with emotions and focuses on holistic healing.

Amanda continues to reside in Guatemala, and is now dedicating her time to writing and diving deeper into the process of the integrating self. She approaches her audience through conferences, coaching sessions and more directly through her writing.
