Chad Elick

Donna and Chad Elick are the creators of the hugely popular website The Slow Roasted Italian, created in 2011, where millions of readers come every month in search of time-saving recipes. Since then, they have developed and photographed more than 1,000 recipes.

Chad is the photographer, food stylist, graphic designer and chief taste tester. He studied graphic design in college and worked as an art director for twenty years.

Luckily, he picked up a camera and taught himself to take the most mouthwatering photography. Chad can usually be found with camera in hand, taking a walk with their daughter, on long bike rides, or researching and playing with the latest tech. Mostly, Chad spends his time coming up with innovative ideas to solve Donna’s problems.

They currently live in Phoenix, Arizona, with their daughter, and an endless supply of nachos.
