As to my professional background in brief: I have taught courses in Communication Studies, Science and Technology Studies (STS), Political Science, Humanities, and English at the American University of Nigeria, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Virginia Tech, and (briefly) Delhi University. I have also held research fellowships at the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, and at the University of Edinburgh's Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.

I have previously published in academic journals such as The Communication Review, The Information Society Journal, Social Text, Women's Writing, Third World Quarterly, and The South Asianist. I have also published journalistically in Asia Times Online, Himal Southasian, Acres USA, Earth Island Journal, and Thoughtfox.xyz.
