James Dutton

James (Jim) Dutton is a career software developer and game designer who has now written more than twenty novels, some of which are available on Amazon.com. Among his many novels, he wrote the well-received fan-fiction sequel to Robert A. Heinlein's "Citizen of the Galaxy".

James mentors aspiring writers and is a former Director at the non-profit WritingForums.com, a site devoted to assisting both experienced and up-and-coming novelists and writers of all types. He spends a good bit of each day giving advice and comfort to other authors and writes articles on ideas helpful to developing authors.

Jim started professional writing by penning thousands of moves in the interactive fiction games Silverdawn, StarQuest, and Star Trek - The Play by Mail Game. He lives in the country several miles from a small town with his wife, their three dogs, and two cats.

He writes fiction in Heroic Fantasy, Science Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Adventure, Mystery, RomComs, and a series of Fairy Tale novellas about magic mice and white witches and dragons. Who knows what he'll think of next?
