Heather LeRoss writes books about women, for women, in praise of women. She lives in Washington state and is Mom to boys (sorry, young men), Mommy to the world's cutest Cavalier, and Wife to the best husband a woman could ask for.

Her first book of creative nonfiction, Just Tell Me I’m Pretty: Musings on a Messy Life, is an award-winning look at motherhood, aging, caregiving, and love.

Her debut novel, What’s Left is Hope, coming October 27, 2026, explores the freedom that comes from letting go of shame, expectations, and secrets and opening ourselves to new possibilities. Told with Heather’s signature humor, the novel offers a perfect-ish look at the power of friendship and self-acceptance.
