Eeshat Ansari

Have you ever heard the saying that the door of the heart can only be opened from the inside? This perfectly encapsulates the life of Dr. Eeshat Ansari. Even though he was born into a prominent Muslim family in Farangi Mahal, Lucknow, India, he did not give much importance to religion. His parents tried hard to encourage him to increase his understanding of Islam, but that did not work. Sometime in his mid-30s, he had an unforgettable spiritual experience that finally opened his heart. By then, he had completed his master's in physics, settled in the USA, and was well-read in different subjects. The experience spiraled into a self-motivated, never-ending quest for an in-depth study of Islam. Due to his late start, his understanding of Islam was not based on the blind following of any contemporary Islamic school of thought, sect, or political party. His views are fiercely independent yet based on facts and logic. He believes that the greatness of Islam can be proven without condemning other religions. After 19 years of rigorous study and introspection, his book "The Purest Monotheism: Monotheistic Islam. Polytheistic Muslims" was published. This book, however, had too much information presented in a condensed form that many readers found difficult. Based on this feedback, he opted instead to break up the previously mentioned book into three easily digestible segments. The first segment is titled: "ISLAM: Path of Infinite Love." This book discusses unconditional love and compassion. The other two segments are titled: "An Islam Inspired Solution to Radicalism: A Peaceful and Practical Approach" and "The Greatest Miracle of the Quran: Islamic Monotheism."

In 1995, Dr. Ansari earned a second master's degree in Computer Science. He has worked as a software engineer for more than two decades. He earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies in 2022.

Dr. Ansari was one of the founders of a mosque in Chantilly, Virginia. He volunteered as co-chair/chair of the management committee for several years. This full-service mosque offers five daily, Tarawih and Eid prayers. It also offers many classes for adults and children. The mosque includes a health clinic dedicated to providing uninsured, low-income individuals with access to primary care and preventive services.
