Scott L. Miller earned his Master's degree in social work and has worked extensively as a psychiatric and medical LCSW in public and private settings. He has penned three suspense/crime fiction novels in the Mitch Adams series which are set in present-day St. Louis and feature a clinical social worker in private practice forced to become a fledgling private investigator in book one when his girlfriend is murdered. Fate seems to thrust him into an unwanted spotlight every year in a daunting, time-consuming case with grave consequences for himself and those he loves.
Miller is working on a fourth in the series as well as another novel featuring a female protagonist in search of her son.
An avid fan of trivia, cards, and horse racing, he lives in Chesterfield, MO, a suburb of St. Louis, with his beagle Juliet.
