Gabriel Rigall

Gabriel "Gabe" Rigall is the author of the Star Stone Saga (and many other half-finished works). He is a voracious reader and an avid fan of science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. He was greatly influenced by early sci-fi authors like Andre Norton, Isaac Asimov, Orson Scott Card, and Alan Burt Akers (a.k.a. Kenneth Bulmer) and modern writers like Michael Crichton and Timothy Zahn. That being said, he draws inspiration for his writing from many sources (often indiscriminately).

Writing is one of Gabe's greatest passions. Other passions and past-times include: reading, feeling guilty for reading when he should be writing, thinking about writing when he should be doing something else, gaming (PC, console, card, and board), and spending time with his family.

Gabe is currently finishing Grad School (because everyone needs a day job) and is a serving member of the Army National Guard. He has two combat deployments and a strange affinity (now) for hot and sandy places. He lives with his wife and son in Portland, Oregon.
