Laura Quinn

My Name is Laura Quinn, Author of Children's books, My First Book Monkey Blue and Friends was a real hit and is now being stocked by some of the biggest bookstores in the world.

I began by joining the making magic happen academy, it is an academy for writers on all platform and from all walks of life, The Academy gave me a complete insight and journey through to the world of publishing, I was welcomed in to the academy on the 13th of June 2017 and have since:

Begun my own Publishing Press, Monkey Blue Press.

Launched my first book of the Monkey blue collection, Monkey Blue and friends

Released my second book, what on earth is under my bed.

I have been Interviewed by all the local papers and been reviewed by the Boots 2016 Parenting Blogger of the Year, One yummy mummy, other bloggers have reviewed my book include, The Stay at home mum and Mummy May I.

I created my own personal Ingram spark account where I can personally run daily sales reports and have complete control over my book as well as a complete over view of sales in each country, also input in marketing and distribution.

I am booked up with Author talks and readings.

Created my own website for my press and book collection and a place for people to follow “my story”.

I Have my book stocked my some major retail and online stores, Eason's, Waterstones, Barnes and Noble, Wordery, and many many more.

I am featuring in the More than a Mum book which is being published by white light publishing early 2018.

It has been such an amazing and exciting time, when I seen the first cover of Monkey Blue I was ecstatic, as wrong as this may sound to some, it was almost up there with seeing my son for the first time, I already felt like I had succeeded.

Ironically it was a also a long labour of love but most certainly one I would do over and over again.
