Herman J. Williams, MD, is the chief clinical officer for RegionalCare Capella Health (RCCH) Healthcare Partners. In this role, he oversees all quality, safety, and clinical activities for the company’s 17 regional health systems in 13 states. These include hospitals in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington.
Dr. Williams has a specialized expertise in public health and policy issues, and works with physicians and clinicians across large healthcare systems.
He received a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts in1987. Graduating with honors, Williams earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1988, and a Master of Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, in 2004.
A professional certified coach (PCC) in the International Coach Federation, Dr. Williams applies professional coaching to focus on setting goals, creating outcomes, and managing personal change.
For the past 26-years, he has been married to Jeannie Williams, a retired dental hygienist. The couple has one son, Cole, who is 21.
