She is Master of Economics from University of Kalyani in India. She started her career as a convent school teacher. But writing is her first love from her childhood.

Her write ups are published regularly in nationally and internationally in Online and Offline magazines. She has achieved a lot of recognition and awards for her wonderful performance and own write-ups from the beginning.

She loves Singing, Recitation, Traveling, Photography and Cooking and spending specious moments with her family members.

Her home town is at a small green town of West Bengal in India. She is married to Anirban Chakraborty. She is encourages always by her husband, parents and brother.
