Windflower Cook

Windflower Elizabeth Cook is an author of women's issues. She is the author of Following Windy, an interactive blog at "Moms Like Me" and contributing author of The New Feminine Evolutionary, Flower of Life Press. She is also the co-author of The Sisterhood of The Modern Goddess. She is passionate about philanthropic causes that support educational, environmental and women's causes. She was a family therapist in a children's Home for troubled youth and a third grade teacher in an inner city public school for gifted and talented children. Windflower also has formal training as a physio-neuro trainer, Reiki II and ThetaHealing.

She can be found in a nearby yoga studio, hiking, playing with her children, picking sage, walking the dog, or riding her pink cruiser in open space. Windflower has a Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. She is Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University. Windflower is currently developing an educational non-profit, "Soul Purpose" to support the empowerment of women in stepping into their truth. Her oldest daughter was recently selected by Creative Communications as a one of the top ten national poets. She lives in Louisville Colorado with her beloved husband, three children and a golden retriever.
