Serena Ivo

Fourteen and a Quarter came to be after Serena presented the book idea and a sample story to a writing class. The feedback was encouragingly positive. Surprised by the enthusiasm, she felt motivated to finish what she started, which effort took four years to complete. This collection of stories was typed while waiting for kids to do their activities, and during the wee hours of the morning with HGTV murmuring in the background. On a shoestring, she managed to self-publish the manuscript. She is pleased that her baby bird of a book has left the nest and is flying free.

Serena is happy wife and mother, and her work life spans nearly three decades.
