B. J. Sadiq

B.J. Sadiq is a British Pakistani writer. He was born in 1983 and started off his formal education at a Christian Missionary school in Karachi, Pakistan, before moving to Lahore where he received a degree from Government College Lahore. He then moved to England to read for his BA Honours and Masters in economics from the University of Cambridge. Soon after Cambridge, Sadiq apprenticed at the House of Lords before working as a journalist in London for a few years, and has also been a contributor to a range of publications, including the American Interest, the Spectator, the Daily Times and the Friday Times. Sadiq has also worked as an international development consultant with the United Nations and the World Bank Group in the South Asia and the Middle East regions. Sadiq has authored two books so far, his first was a highly rated biography of Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan titled: "Let There Be Justice: The Political Journey of Imran Khan"; and his second was an epic verse novella called "Of Kings and Nobilities" which he wrote under the guise of his pseudonym "B. J. Hughes" and which received glorious reviews from across the globe. He is married and divides his time between Pakistan and England.
