Talia Kendrix (pseudonym) is originally from southwestern Pennsylvania. She has earned an Associate in Specialized Business (high honors), a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Psychology minor (honors), and a Master of Arts in Illustration. Additionally, she has multiple certifications including as a Therapeutic Art Practitioner and in women’s outreach, care, and coaching. She has proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and loves God, cats, fitness, food, flowers, art, movies, books, writing, butterflies, the beach, hiking, and so much more!
After surviving an abusive childhood and working with many others like her, she knew her story needed to be shared. She aims to empower, inspire, and encourage others, especially those in relatable situations or with similar backgrounds. She has taken training courses, spoken with experts and other overcomers, attended and hosted support groups, read many books, and done extensive research to better educate herself and spread factual information on things she is passionate about, including abuse and other issues detailed in this writing. She enjoys sharing her testimony and speaking about her experiences, and hopes that her work will touch many hearts and lives.
She currently has four published books, owns a small online art business, and hosts an online community where she teaches her Healthy Boundaries for Cycle-Breakers curriculum.
