Nathalie Antien is the daughter of a dressmaker and an engineer. She was born near Paris in France. When she was 17 years old, she left home to go to College and started studying English literature. Very soon, she taught English in high schools and middle schools while studying. Meanwhile, she worked as an artist: indeed, she started a career as a pastellist painter and achieved some exhibitions of her different works of Art. She felt pretty much concerned with teenagers' and children's conditions around the world and got involved in humanitarian interventions in Siem Reap, Cambodia, during at least ten years. She visited schools and hospitals and then travelled all around the world. All those experiences helped her to write for young people and young adults. She started writing travelogues and then wrote her first trilogy Holy Darwin, dealing about extraordinary and fantastic worlds, then Le Bus d'éternité, a fantastic book for teenagers and Le rêve de petit Tom, her first illustrated album for young children. She is now working on other writing projects concerning young children and teenagers, especially illustrated albums and Fantasy novels. The readers will enjoy her imaginary, fantastic and extraordinary world!
