Chris Chavez

Chris Chavez has been married to Heather for twelve years. They have adopted two sets of siblings from the foster care system: Antonio, Moriah, Samuel, Thaddeus and JJ. With the childhood death of Chris’ father, God has turned that experience into an opportunity to help others grow in their faith. Chris has published and adoption book for kids entitled- A Forever Family For Antonio: A Gospel Adoption Journey and a Christian Spiritual Life book entitled Vanity, Vanity - American Christianity.

In 2018 he published The Gospel Advent book and 2019 he joyfully introduces 2 more books. The Family Discipleship Bible - New Testament and The Family Discipleship Bible - Old Testament were released in 2019. Both Old Testament and New Testament were released in Spanish in August of 2020. In addition to writing, he has served as Pastoral Associate for a church in the DFW area and as an Associate Pastor/Elder for a church plant in Houston. He is currently writing additional books to equip believers. Chris is a military veteran and currently he and his wife own and operate a business in Katy, Texas.
