Alejandra Carrasco

Alejandra Carrasco, MD, FAAFP, FABIHM, IFMCP, received her undergraduate degree from Rice University and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Long School of Medicine in San Antonio. After completing a family medicine residency at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas, she went on to complete the Functional Medicine Certification Program through the Institute of Functional Medicine. In 2012 she founded Nourish Medicine, an integrative and functional medicine practice that seeks to uncover the root causes of illness and bring patients back to health and healing.
