Craig Barton

Craig Barton was born in Lisburn, N. Ireland in 1970. His Scottish father and Irish mother moved to Glasgow in 1971 and Craìg was brought up there until 1979, when the family moved to his father's home town of Troon in Ayrshire. Educated at Marr College, Craìg went on to obtain a Joint Honours degree in Psychology and Geography from the University of St. Andrews in Fife. His 25 year career has mainly comprised of Mental Health Support Work, Community Mental Health Nursing, and since 2007, working in Primary Care Mental Health for the NHS in Scotland as a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP). This is his first published book based on his extensive professional work and personal experience of intermittent recurrent clinical depression.
