Gregory L. Beam

Gregory L. Beam is an actor, writer, and college professor. His works for the stage have been called "perversely sophisticated... refreshingly transgressive" (Chicago Reader) and "smart, stylish, sharply realistic drama that keeps us on tenterhooks" (TimeOut London). Originally from Maine, he studied Philosophy at the University of Chicago and Acting at the University of California-Irvine. He then lived in New York City for several years, where he worked as an actor in commercials and video games while developing his writing, before settling in El Paso, Texas, with his family. Greg is also the creator and host of Quite Useless, a podcast about art and its role in our lives.
